Power Facilities

We provide our clients with high-quality design and consulting services in the field of power facilities.

Our expertise covers the following types of facilities:

  • Distribution substations TS 10(20)/0.4 kV and TS 35/10(20)/0.4 kV
  • Switchgear facilities RS 10(20) kV and RS 35 kV
  • Transmission substations TS 110/X kV, TS 220/X kV, and TS 400/X kV
  • Switchgear facilities RS 110 kV, RS 220 kV, and RS 400 kV
  • Traction substations (EVP 25 kV)
  • Sectioning facilities with or without neutral conductors (PS 25 kV and PSN 25 kV)

In addition to preparing design documentation at all levels of detail, we also develop studies, analyses, and reports, as well as perform supervision during the reconstruction and construction of the above-mentioned facilities. Electromagnetic field calculations are carried out in cooperation with our affiliated company Dalekovod EMU.

We are certified to prepare Grid Connection Feasibility Studies (EMP) and Studies of Optimal Technical Solutions for Grid Connection (EOTRP) required for connecting users to the transmission network operated by the Croatian Transmission System Operator (HOPS). Link: HOPS Qualified Experts List

In our work, we use renowned software tools, including:

  • BIM software for high-voltage substations: Primtech 3D
  • Software for schematic diagrams and connection plans: Eplan and Caddy
  • Software for calculating electric and magnetic (EM) fields: EFC-400, among others

 

Our clients include the Distribution System Operator, the Transmission System Operator, and various private network users for whom we design power facilities. The most frequent projects involve renewable energy connections, reconstructions, and electricity supply for road and railway infrastructure (HC, HAC, HŽI, and others).

Our employees are actively involved in professional associations such as CIGRE, the Croatian Chamber of Electrical Engineers, the Croatian Standards Institute, and more. We ensure knowledge transfer from senior to junior colleagues and maintain strong collaboration across different offices within Dalekovod Projekt. This multidisciplinary approach enables us to provide comprehensive and high-quality design solutions for complex power facilities, including their grid connections.
