Dalekovod-Projekt in a Historic Energy Interconnection Project in Sweden

Dalekovod-Projekt is participating in one of the most significant infrastructure projects for Sweden’s energy transition – the design and construction of two new 400 kV overhead lines and the reconstruction of an existing 400 kV line along a 460-kilometer corridor between Karlstad and Östersund. This mega-project, known as Karlstadbenet, will increase the electricity transmission capacity between the north and south of the country and alleviate bottlenecks between energy regions. As part of a team led by Swedish company Tyréns acting as the main consultant, Dalekovod-Projekt and Cowi provide expert support in their respective fields. The project, valued at over €62 million, is commissioned by Svenska kraftnät, the Swedish national electricity transmission system operator.

Dalekovod Projekt in the Capital Project Lika

The long-awaited project for the development of the Croatian power system – the Lika Project – is finally moving into the implementation phase, with Dalekovod Projekt d.o.o. participating in cooperation with eminent partners in the field of environmental protection. The implementation of the project will significantly improve Croatia’s transmission network, increasing its operational security and reliability, while enabling strong further growth in the construction and integration of new renewable energy sources.
